Property developer HJ Collection has acquired a prime commercial site in Maidenhead for £3.3 million.
The firm will redevelop 31 residential units, comprising 22 one-bed, six two-bed and three three-bed apartments.
The plan is to spend £3.5 million for a project, with a gross development value of £10.75 million.
Reece Mennie, founder and chief executive of HJ Collection, said: “This acquisition in Maidenhead is a prime example of what HJ Collection stands for – repurposing underutilised spaces into high-quality residential homes in tier 2 and 3 towns across the UK.
“Maidenhead’s ongoing regeneration, coupled with superb transport links, makes this a prime location for both residents and investors. I’m proud to add this site to our growing portfolio and look forward to seeing its transformation over the coming months.”
The development is located near Maidenhead town centre, and is in walking distance to Maidenhead station, which has fast and frequent rail services to London Paddington and Reading, now further enhanced by the Elizabeth Line.
Heathrow Airport is a 20-minute drive away with quick access to the M4.
